Raffia Thomas is a professional vocalist and recording artist. Originally from New York, Raffia is currently based in the Los Angeles area. Raffia has recorded her own music, and has also performed background vocals for numerous artists including Toni Braxton, Blake Shelton, and many more. Raffia and her husband Cecil Thomas Jr. founded the Raffia Music Studio located in Lomita, California. Today, Raffia performs “Goodness of God” (Jason Ingram; Brian Johnson; Ed Cash; Ben Fielding; Jenn Johnson; adapt: M. Riley). She is joined by backup singers Preston Parker, Mindy Kim and Connor Smith, and accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

The Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, performs “My Song in the Night” (American Folk Hymn; arr: Mack Wilberg). The choir is accompanied by Dr. Philip Hoch on organ and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

  1. Thank you, Pastor Bobby for this message. I am commenting on the sermon about not taking risks so forgive me if my comment doesn’t fit here or make sense. It reminded me of my family. I am constantly praying for them to see the mistake of their lifestyle. They don’t understand me and because of that I have chosen to distance myself from them. I would like to introduce them to WORD and your advice, but don’t feel that would have any or little effect.
