Pastor Bobby continues a four-sermon series entitled “Angels: God’s Messengers to You.” This series will focus on four different angel Bible stories; what we can learn from them and how they can encourage us in our faith. Today’s message: “Balaam’s Best Friend.”

Kayla Stoecklein is a mom of three boys and an inspirational speaker. In August of 2018, her husband Andrew, pastor of Inland Hills Church, died by suicide. She is now an advocate for mental health in churches, and how we can support our community and leaders who suffer with mental illness.

Sean Oliu is a bi-lingual singer, songwriter, multi-talented instrumentalist and actor from Anaheim, California. He’s also a member of the latest generation of Disney’s Mouseketeers. He was named one of the top influencers in Orange County, and performs as both Cantor to his local congregation, and to hundreds of thousands of viewers through Club Mickey Mouse. Today, he is accompanied by his band the Coastline Cowboys: Daniel Hudson on bass and Nathan Reyes on vocals and cajon, and is supported by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra. They perform “He’s My Rock, My Sword, My Shield” (comp: Randy Travis) and “I Saw the Light” (comp: Johnny Cash; Jerry Lee Lewis).

Directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir, along with soloists Mindy Kim and Todd Strange performs “Is He Worthy?” (comp: Andrew Peterson; Ben Shive; arr: Dan Forrest). The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on the piano and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Opening Hymn – “Amazing Grace” (comp: John Newton)

  1. Thank you for being honest and talking openly about mental health, suicide, and what can be done to protect people whose brains are more vulnerable. Thank you also for telling the story of Balaam and his donkey. This story is familiar to people interested in animal rights and the Bible, but it is important to share what the Bible says about protecting animals and their rights with the general public.
