Christmas Hope

In this special Hour of Power Christmas Eve service, Pastor Bobby reminds us that God has a great plan for each of us and we don’t have to be wrapped up in the shame of our past. Make a decision today to follow Jesus Christ, and your life will never be the same. Today’s message, “Christmas Hope.”

The Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, performs “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” (Charles Wesley, Felix Mendelssohn; arr: Dan Forrest). The choir is accompanied by Dr. Philip Hoch on organ, So-Mang on piano, and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir performs “O Come, All Ye Faithful” (John Francis Wade; arr: Dan Forrest). The choir is accompanied by Dr. Philip Hoch on organ, So-Mang on piano, and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Voices of Hope Children’s Choir, directed by Sarah Grandpre, performs “Walking in the Air” (Howard Blake). This group of 1st through 12th grade children is a professional youth choral program which offers musical excellence and a performance experience in a safe and supportive Christian environment. They are accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Arnold Geis is a full-time singer, performing internationally and locally as a session singer and studio musician for live events, television and film. He has performed mainstage roles and premiered works at The Glimmerglass Festival, New York City Opera and Los Angeles Opera. Today, Arnold performs “Angels from the Realms of Glory” (James Montgomery; adapt: M. Riley). He is joined by the Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, and accompanied by the Hour of Power Orchestra, directed by Dr. Marc Riley.

Erin Alford is a full-time mezzo-soprano singer, performing with the LA Opera Connects, the LA Opera Chorus and the LA Virtuosi Orchestra. She earned her Master’s Degree from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at Cal State Long Beach. Today, the Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, joins Erin on “O Holy Night” (Adolph Adam; arr: John Leavitt; orch: M. Riley). The choir is accompanied by So-Mang on piano and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
