DIY: How to Serve

Pastor Bobby continues the message series called: “DIY: No One Can Follow Jesus For You.” In this series, Bobby will take you back to the basics of your faith and guide you in your walk with Jesus. Today’s message: “How to Serve.”

Melinda McGlasson is an aspiring singer from Oklahoma. Voted “Most Likely to Win a Grammy” by her high school classmates, Melinda went on to pursue music on a full scholarship to Northeast Oklahoma A&M College. While working with her husband at Lifeway Christian Center, her life would change after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and later with stage 3 thyroid cancer. In the midst of this hardship, Melinda was signed to Redemption World Records and began work on her first album, Spirit Break Out. She now tours frequently and her music plays internationally. She is currently working on her next album.

Today, Melinda performs “Adore” (comp: Melinda McGlasson) and “Be Bold, Be Strong” (comp: Melinda McGlasson). She is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

The Fullerton College Chamber Singers have been ranked among the finest choirs in California. Directed by Arian Khaefi, this group from Fullerton, California maintain an intensive rehearsal and performance schedule and perform for local, regional and national conferences, competitions, festivals, and tour internationally. Today, they perform “Sing Forth the Honor of His Name” (comp: Eugene Butler). The choir is accompanied by Minh Nguyen on the organ.
