Pastor Bobby continues the message series based on the Mind of Christ with today’s message: “From Despair to Hope.”
Skip Garmo is president of Mission to Children, an organization that provides food, shelter, training and life-changing Bible teaching to at-risk children. This Christian charity is committed to caring for and cultivating Christ-like character in children. Skip is also the executive editor of the “Cultivating Character” training series for educators and parents, having been translated into 20 languages and presented in 17 countries to more than a million people. His book, “The Leader’s SEEcret: Asking the Right Questions and Embracing God’s Answers” is available wherever books are sold.
Directed by Carol Aspling, the Southern California Children’s Advanced Chorus is Orange County, California’s only chorus dedicated exclusively to meeting the educational and performance needs of children through music and singing. Students range in age from 5 to 21 years of age, and come from all over Southern California. Today, they perform, “Esurientes from Magnificat in G minor” (comp: Antonio Vivaldi) and “Gloria in Excelsis Deo” (comp: James McCray). The group is accompanied by Becky Grove on the piano.
Directed by Don Neuen, the Hour of Power Choir performs “O Lord, Our Lord” (comp: Van Denman Thompson; edited by Donald Neuen). The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on the organ.

I have been encouraged this morning, having shed many tears over the past two weeks, by Bobby Schuller’s message on Depression to Hope and urging us to dream again. I’m in Hanoi visiting my son and wife for Christmas and New Year. He’s a very heavy drinker, his wife is staying with her mother and I’m heartbroken seeing my son struggling to “win back’his young wife. He has no time for God but knows I’m a Christian……a very flawed Christian! I’m asking God to intervene and for me to dream again…for my son, his wife to be reconciled and also for myself to have that intimate relationship with Jesus once more.It’s lonely here in Hanoi……please pray for us. I return home to UK on 14th and want to see reconciliation between them and for them to discover how much Jesus loves them. Thank you. Trisha

I am trying to find a copy of a poem featured on the UK television broadcast of TBN / Hour of Power?
I think 2nd-4th January 2016, Bobby Schuller was mentioned on credits, I do not think it was him reciting the poem.
The man reciting the poem (about the church and it people) was walking along a railway track surrounded by trees and some woodland.
This is so frustrating, I have only started watching TBN in last few weeks, a Christian friend told me about it.
