From Entitlement to Gratitude

Pastor Bobby continues the message series based on the Mind of Christ with “From Entitlement to Gratitude.”

Star Parker is the founder and president of The Center for Urban Renewal and Education, a public policy think tank that promotes market-based solutions to fight poverty. This group helps to bring new ideas to policy discussions on how to transform America’s poor from government dependency. She is an author, a speaker and a nationally syndicated columnist with Creators Syndicate. Her book, “Blind Conceit” is available wherever books are sold.

Directed by Dr. Diane White-Clayton, the Albert McNeil Jubilee Singers have been together for 40 years and have performed in over 70 countries around the world! Today, the group sings, “Crossin’ Ovah” (comp: Richard Jackson). Soloists are Joel I. Brown, and Yolanda Mitchell-West.

Dorothy Benham is a lyric-coloratura soprano. She has appeared on Broadway and been a guest artist with Symphony Orchestras throughout the country. In 1977, Dorothy was crowned Miss America and today she continues to be a part of the Miss America organization. Today, Dorothy performs “The Lord is My Light” (comp: Frances Allitsen). Dorothy is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Hour of Power favorite Daniel Rodriguez is known as America’s tenor. He has won numerous awards, including The Disney Group Humanitarian, USO Lifetime Achievement, and is a Goodwill Ambassador for the “Heart for Children” foundation. Daniel’s new DVD, “Hour of Power Presents Daniel Rodriguez: A Musical Journey,” is available at hourofpower.org. Today, Daniel sings “I Believe” (comp. Eric Levi; arr: Marc Riley). He is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
