Bobby, I am one of those hopefully millions that depend upon your messages to grow our faith and be good followers of Christ with our service.
I began watching Hour of Power on an Easter Sunday 1960’s while visiting in San Antonio and I found it on TV. Having grown up in the church I was very sad because no one was going to church. But Hour of Power came on and your Granddad gave me a great message and the music was over the top. Soon after HOP was available on the Houston stations and I was able to watch before I became very involved in a local church. Then I found that it was on at a time I could watch. I went out to a couple of women’s conferences and HOP was very important in my spiritual development. Being an Eagle I was invited to have lunch with your Grandfather and about a dozen others.
Tara Nason’s grandmother lived across the street from me and I helped her organize a group of 90 people in my church and neighborhood to pattern Tara while she visited her Grandparents for a couple of weeks. It was an amazing experience.
When you came upon the scene and I understood that you had the understanding and the growing wisdom of sharing the gospel I was so excited and I try never to miss hearing the service and your sermons. The new music director is also outstanding and I say that from being a Director of Music for several years.
Your ministry continues to be a beautiful gift to me and I wanted you to know that I pray there are millions upon millions around the world receiving your messages. I will continue to donate as long as I am able. At 86, not sure how long that will be but you have my support and I do encourage others to listen.
May God continue to bless you and your family. I feel your pain concerning your son, but in our wisdom, we know that God is using him to further the Kingdom. It will all be for the sake of the Kingdom.
    Preach On!!!!!
    Sincerely, Alice
