Get Your Hopes Up

May 2, 2021

Pastor Bobby challenges us to embrace lives of “slow gratitude” so we can become magnets for miracles, with his message “Get Your Hopes Up.”

Tim Tebow is a former athlete who played in both the National Football League and in Major League Baseball. After stepping away from sports, he focused his passion on helping others and established the Tim Tebow Foundation in 2010. This dynamic organization aims to bring faith, hope, and love to those who need a brighter day in their darkest hour. Also an author, he has written several books and recently released his first children’s story, Bronco and Friends: A Party to Remember, which teaches kids about the importance of embracing their unique qualities and abilities.

Haven Schuller is the eleven-year-old daughter of Bobby and Hannah Schuller. Today, Haven performs “Get Your Hopes Up” (Josh Baldwin, Bobby Strand, Nate Moore, Tony Brown; orch: M. Riley). She is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

The Hour of Power Choir men, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, goes virtual and performs “Nearer, My God, to Thee” (Sara F. Adams; James L. Stevens; Lowell Mason).

  1. Hi Bobby,
Have only just finished watching ‘Get Your Hopes Up’ sermon. Too many good points to mention during the sermon. Being grateful is one thing, but to be intentionally thankful to the person or group who inspired the action is the final piece to the puzzle.
As we go through life in it’s entirity ( good and bad ), you reap what you sow. Some would call his ‘Karma’, you either get given good vibe or the biggest kick in the behind you ever had.
    God Bless
