Deidre Pujols is an activist and co-founder of the Pujols Family Foundation, which serves the Down Syndrome community in very tangible ways. In 2016, she founded Open Gate International, which stemmed from her passion for cooking and her desire to make an impact in the world. The organization teaches culinary skills and provides invaluable job training to survivors of human trafficking, while also helping them get into the workforce. The Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, goes virtual and performs “The Mighty Power of God” (Isaac Watts; Mark Hayes). The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on organ, Zach DeChance on piano and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
