Pastor Bobby brings today’s message from Israel, at the synagogue in Capernaum. His encouragement for us is to let us see faith as taking huge risks because we believe what’s said in scripture more than we believe what we’re seeing in the natural around us, with today’s message: “Holy Land – Capernaum: It’s About Faith.”
Born in Tel Aviv, Ron Winter has been a licensed tour guide in Israel since 1982. Ron speaks English, German, and Hebrew. His formal education includes studying archaeology and Israel’s history at the Tel Aviv University and marine archaeology at Haifa University in Israel. He also completed religious studies in Christianity, Judaism and Islam at Montclair State University in New Jersey, as well as attending the Religious Institute in Jerusalem. From 1985 – 1993 Ron traveled all over the USA as a speaker and ambassador promoting tours to Israel. Today, Ron talks with Bobby about the history of Capernaum, including the three years Jesus lived there performing miracles, and Peter’s home where the early church worshiped.
Anna Crumley is a native of Sacramento, California. She attended CSU Long Beach and graduated with degrees in Jazz Studies and Choral Music Education. Anna sings with the social justice choral group Tonality, as well as Kronos Quartet and the Hour of Power Choir. Her voice can be heard on multiple albums, movies and soundtracks for companies such as Disney, Netflix, DC Comics, HBO MAX and National Geographic. Today, Anna performs “Not Lucky, I’m Loved” (Terrell Wilson; Jonathan Caleb McReynolds). She isaccompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
Connor Smith is a Los Angeles-based performer, studio vocalist, arranger and composer. As an in-demand LA session singer, Connor’s voice has appeared in major motion pictures, television shows, studio albums and video games. As a touring artist, vocal director, and guest soloist Connor has performed across the globe from renowned concert halls and recording studios to the stages of Universal Studios Hollywood and the Disneyland Resort. Today, Connor performs, “Stand in Faith” (Danny Gokey; Jordan Sapp; Mia Fieldes; adapt/orch M. Riley). He is joined the Hour of Power Choir, directed by Sarah Grandpre, and accompanied by the Hour of Power Orchestra, directed by guest conductor Jim McMillen.
