Honesty is Easier

August 11, 2019

Pastor Bobby continues a sermon series entitled “Serenity in Your Storms.” This series will focus on the power, importance and promise of a serene mind and a peaceful heart. Whatever storm you’re going through in life; whatever challenge you’re facing, God can give you serenity, peace of mind, clarity of thought and purity of heart to endure anything. Today’s message: “Honesty is Easier.”

Colbey Northcutt and Raymond Daniels are two incredibly gifted and world champion martial artists. Colbey grew up in a Martial Arts family, while Raymond is a former police officer who retired from the force to pursue a new career path. They are engaged to be married, and great friends of our ministry.

Former Shepherd’s Grove worship leader, Natalya Roa returns to inspire and uplift with her gift of music. Today, Natalya performs “You Say” (comp: Lauren Daigle; arr & orch M. Riley). She is accompanied by the Hour of Power Choir with Dr. Irene Messoloras and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir, along with soloists Kelly Cruz, Sarah Grandpre and Samuel Capella, performs “I Will Rise” (comp: C. Tomlin, J. Reeves, L. Giglio, M. Maher; arr: C. Courtney & L. Hasseler; orch: M. Riley). The choir is accompanied by Susan Caudill on the piano and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
