Hope is for Noobs

On this first Sunday of Advent, Pastor Bobby teaches that hope is for beginners. It’s for people that are new to the faith with his message, “Hope is for Noobs.”

Raffia Thomas is a professional vocalist and recording artist. Originally from New York, Raffia is currently based in the Los Angeles area. In 2013, Raffia released her own CD, which has been featured worldwide on radio and online syndicated stations. She has also performed background vocals for numerous artists including Toni Braxton, Blake Shelton, and many more. Raffia and her husband Cecil Thomas Jr. founded the Raffia Music Studio located in Lomita, California. The studio provides private music lessons to children and adults of all ages. Today, Raffia performs “Do You Hear What I Hear?” (Noel Regney; Gloria Shayne Baker). She is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Terron Brooks is an actor, singer/songwriter from Southern California. A veteran in the entertainment industry, Terron has had the pleasure of performing with many amazing artists, such as Stevie Wonder, Josh Groban, David Foster and Smokey Robinson. He has toured internationally, performed on Broadway and has been a featured guest artist of prestigious symphony orchestras around the country. Today, Terron performs “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” (Public Domain; James Skafish). He is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

The Hour of Power Choir, along with soloist Laura Dickinson and directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, performs “Breath of Heaven” (Craig Courtney). The choir is accompanied by Zach DeChance on piano and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

The Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, performs “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” (Charles Wesley, Felix Mendelssohn; arr: Dan Forrest). The choir is accompanied by Philip Hoch on organ, Zach DeChance on piano, and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
