Letting Go of Others

Pastor Bobby continues a sermon series entitled “Serenity in Your Storms.” This series will focus on the power, importance and promise of a serene mind and a peaceful heart. Whatever storm you’re going through in life; whatever challenge you’re facing, God can give you serenity, peace of mind, clarity of thought and purity of heart to endure anything. Today’s message: “Letting Go of Others.”

Husband and wife, Zach and Rachel King, met at Biola University and have competed on The Amazing Race. Zach creates sleight-of-hand magic videos for his social media followers and advertisements, and Rachel works with him. They are also the parents of two boys. They are passionate advocates of foster care and ending the current foster care crisis.

Laura Dickinson is a soloist from Southern California. Known for her extensive work on Disney’s animated hits Phineas and Ferb, Sofia the First, and Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Laura also serves as a vocal director and vocal contractor for Disney TV Animation. As a trained dancer and actress, Laura has over 60 regional musical theatre credits under her belt. Today, Laura performs, “God, I Look to You” (comp: Jenn Johnson; arr/orch: M. Riley). She is accompanied by Dr. Irene Messoloras and the Hour of Power Choir, and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir performs “Mercy” (comp: Craig Courtney). The choir is accompanied by Susan Caudill on the piano, and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

  1. Thank you, I really needed to hear this today. My storm has been ongoing for almost three years and it only seems to be getting worse. I also screwed up in this mess by being controlling and lashing out at them, which I am so sorry I did and repented and turned away from doing that again. I love how perfectly your message addresses my situation and know without a doubt, that is the Lord.
