Nita Whitaker is a singer and songwriter. She grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana, and came to California to expand her music career. She married voice-over star Don LaFontaine and they had three daughters. Don passed away five years ago, and Nita wrote a book entitled “Finding My Voice” where she shares her journey through the grieving process. Nita’s book and CD’s are available everywhere. Today, Nita performs, “Rolling River God” (comp. Nicole Nordeman) and “Because of Who You Are” (comp: Sandy Patti; arr: Nelson Kole). She is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
Directed by Don Neuen, the Hour of Power Choir performs “Blessed are They” (comp: Lee Dengler). The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on the organ.

Thank you for your broadcast saving message to us all that watch. I was enjoying the beautiful solos, and I enjoy them all! Do you, or are you in the future going to put some of the favorite solo songs on cd that can be purchased, including the choir, they always sing so beautifully and it is so uplifting in spirit and inspiring! I realize that is difficult to do because all the songs are so beautiful. I really enjoyed last week Ride on King Jesus, and this week I loved Rolling River God, and the other week the song I am GOLD, that man’s truth was fantastic with God working through. Thank you! Glad many are being under Gods’ saving graces today!
