Pillars of Salt

February 28, 2021

Trust that where God is sending you is for your benefit, your blessing and your goodness with Pastor Bobby’s message, “Pillars of Salt.”

Mark Clark is an author and pastor who founded Village Church, a dynamic church with a global online outreach and campuses all across Canada. Through his teaching and his books, he seeks to reach those who are skeptical about Jesus and His teachings, while also challenging Christians to go deeper in their faith. His new book, The Problem of Jesus: Answering a Skeptic’s Challenges to the Scandal of Jesus, looks at who the Savior really was and asks the question, “Why do we keep getting who Jesus was wrong?”

Vocalist Joslyn Sarshad is a member of the Hour of Power Choir, the Pacific Chorale and the John Alexander Singers. A graduate of California State University Fullerton, Joslyn teaches voice, piano and guitar lessons. Today, she performs “King of My Heart” (comp: John Mark McMillan; Sarah McMillan; adapt & orch by M. Riley). She is accompanied by the virtual Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Preston Parker is a reoccurring worship leader here at Hour of Power and has toured and performed with numerous choirs and organizations locally and internationally. He has also been featured performing on shows like The Oscars and The Ellen DeGeneres show. Today, Preston performs “Just as I Am” (comp: Jason Crabb). He is accompanied by the Hour of Power Orchestra, directed by Dr. Marc Riley.
