Pastor Bobby concludes the series of messages for the season of Advent entitled: Advent – Hope in Your Winter. Today’s message, “The Gift of Winter.” A returning Hour of Power favorite, Maiya Sykes is a soloist from Southern California. Sykes attended Yale with a triple major in Political Science, African American studies and Music Composition. She has performed with stellar artists and groups like Macy Gray and Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox, and competed on “The Voice (2014).” Today, Maiya sings “Silent Night” (comp: F.X. Gruber; J. Mohr; M. Breitkopf; orch: M. Riley). She is joined by Kenton Chen, Jherimi Henry and Leonard Clark, and is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.  Directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir performs “Angels We Have Heard on High” (arr: Donald McCullough; orch: M. Receive God’s Gift for You

Pastor Bobby continues the series of messages for the season of Advent entitled: Advent – Hope in Your Winter. Today’s message, “Receive God’s Gift for You.” The Voices of Hope Children’s Choir, directed by Sarah Grandpre, is part of the Shepherd’s Grove/Hour of Power ministry. This group of 1st through 10th grade children is a professional youth choral program which offers musical excellence and a performance experience in a safe and supportive Christian environment. Today they perform “All is Well” (comp: Michael W. Smith; Wayne Kirkpatrick arr: Ronn Huff;,orch. M.Riley). This group is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra, and the Hour of Power Choir. Jason Catron is a tenor soloist from southern California. Dana Baker has performed in opera houses and concert halls around the country, and Sarah is the director of Voices of Hope Children’s Choir.
