Brian Houston is the senior pastor of Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia. The music of Hillsong is known around the world, with many churches singing their praise music every Sunday. In 2016, their touring band, United, is slated to release their first major motion picture “Let Hope Rise.” Brian is highly regarded for his boldness, innovation and vision. He has authored 13 books, including his newest release, Live, Love, Lead, which is available wherever books are sold. Brian and his wife Bobbie are passionate about seeing all people find Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Jenny Oaks Baker is known as America’s violinist. A Grammy nominated musician, Jenny began her playing career at the age of four. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, and her master’s degree at the Juilliard School in New York City. She has performed with the Utah Symphony, the Concerto Soloists Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Today, Jenny performs “Everybody Hurts” (comp: B. Berry; P. Buck; M. Mills; M. Stipe; arr: K. Bestor). She is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
Directed by Don Neuen, the Hour of Power Choir with the men only perform “O For a Thousand Tongues to Sing/Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah” (comp: C. Wesley; C. Glaser; arr: D. Neuen; J. Carl). The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on the organ.
