Pastor Bobby continues the message series on how to be happy and whole students of Jesus entitled, The Narrow Road: How to be Alive. Today’s message: “Sufficiency and Generosity.”
Chad and Hillary Blake are both leaders at Shepherd’s Grove and Hour of Power. Chad is the executive pastor of Shepherd’s Grove and regularly appears on the Hour of Power. A graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary and an ordained minister in the Reformed Church in America, Chad has served alongside Bobby in a variety of roles throughout the years. Hillary works behind the scenes for Shepherd’s Grove and Hour of Power as a graphic artist. Married for seven years, Chad and Hillary talk of their struggle to start a family and how their faith sustains them through the process.
Laura Dickinson is a soloist from Southern California. Known for her extensive work on Disney’s animated hits Phineas and Ferb, Sofia the First, and Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Laura also serves as a vocal director and vocal contractor for Disney TV Animation. As a trained dancer and actress, Laura has over 60 regional musical theatre credits under her belt. Today, Laura performs “Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor,” (comp: Irving Berlin) along with the Hour of Power Choir with Don Neuen, and “He’s Never Failed Me Yet” (comp: CeCe Winans). Laura is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
Directed by Don Neuen, the Hour of Power Choir performs “Thy Will be Done” (comp: Craig Courtney). The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on the organ.
