Raffia Thomas is a professional vocalist and recording artist. Originally from New York, Raffia is currently based in the Los Angeles area. In 2013, Raffia released her own CD, which has been featured worldwide on radio and online syndicated stations. She has also performed background vocals for numerous artists including Toni Braxton, Blake Shelton, and many more. Raffia and her husband Cecil Thomas Jr. founded the Raffia Music Studio located in Lomita, California. The studio provides private music lessons to children and adults of all ages. Today, Raffia performs “Goodness of God” (Jason Ingram; Brian Johnson; Ed Cash; Ben Fielding; Jenn Johnson; adapt: M. Riley). She is joined by backup singers Preston Parker, Mindy Kim and Connor Smith, and accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Thank you, Bobby, for showing us the way to the greatest treasure: it is who we become. I am 71 and returning to the Special Ed classroom after retiring last year and answering your question “Who do you want to be?” Your clear message points in the positive direction to compare me to myself and knowing that the only thing I take to heaven is “who I become.”
I am reading your book Happiness According to Jesus and searched Hour of Power. My first video on here and it hit home. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and the Word with the world.
