The Prodigal Father

Celebrate our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as Pastor Bobby brings a powerful Easter message entitled, “The Prodigal Father.”

Sarah Grandpre is the director of Voices of Hope Children’s Choir and a member of the Hour of Power Choir. She has over ten years of teaching and directing experience in choral music, musical theater and vocal technique. Today, Sarah performs, “Savior Song” (Christian Friedrich Johannes Buttner; adapt/lyrics by M. Riley). She is joined by the Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, and accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Raffia Thomas is a professional vocalist and recording artist. Originally from New York, Raffia is currently based in the Los Angeles area. In 2013, Raffia released her own CD, which has been featured worldwide on radio and online syndicated stations. She has also performed background vocals for numerous artists including Toni Braxton, Blake Shelton, and many more. Raffia and her husband Cecil Thomas Jr. founded the Raffia Music Studio located in Lomita, California. The studio provides private music lessons to children and adults of all ages. Today, Raffia performs “My Redeemer Lives” (Nicole Mullen). She is joined by the Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, and accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Soloist Sal Malaki is a world-renowned operatic tenor. He is a member of the Los Angeles Opera, the LA Master Chorale and the Hour of Power Choir. Born in Hinunangan, Southern Leyte, Philippines, Sal graduated from the University of the Philippines with two majors: Bachelors Degree in Voice and a Teacher’s Diploma in Flute. Today, Sal sings, “God and God Alone” (Steve Green; arr & orch: M. Riley). He is joined by the Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, and accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir performs “Alleluia” (Saint Augustine; Elaine Hagenberg).

Directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir performs “Crown Him!” (Matthew Bridges; Godfrey Thring; George J. Elvey; arr: Dan Forrest). The choir is accompanied by Zach DeChance on piano, Dr. Philip Hoch on organ, and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

  1. I AM NOT GETTING YOUR SHOW ONLINE HERE JUST YOUR MESSAGE ABOUT A BOOK. WHAT IS UP WITH THE SHOW?? I ALWAYS HAVE ENJOYED HOUR POWER MUSIC THAT YOU DO SO NICELY. THIS YEAR YOUR CHOIR IS WEARING COLORFUL CLOTHES INSTEAD OF THOSE BLACK ROBES. THEY DID HAVE BEAUTIFUL BLUE ROBES THAT THEY WERE IN THE PAST SO WHY NOT NOW JUST BLACK OUTFITS? IN THE PAST YOUR SHOW CAME IN FINE ONLINE BUT NOT TODAY JUST ON TV?
