Jenny Oaks Baker is known as America’s violinist. A Grammy nominated musician, Jenny began her playing career at the age of four. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, and her master’s degree at the Juilliard School in New York City. She has performed with the Utah Symphony, the Concerto Soloists Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
Today, Jenny performs “Love is Spoken Here” (comp: Janice Kapp Perry), along with her four children: Sarah – cello, Matthew – classical guitar, Laura – violin/percussion and Hannah – piano, as well as Shepherd’s Grove Children’s Choir, directed by Michelle Bourque.
Jenny also performs “All Creatures of our God and King” (comp: William H. Draper; arr: S. Cardon). She is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
Directed by Don Neuen, the Hour of Power Choir performs “With Wings as Eagles” (comp: Paul Williams; Benjamin Harlan). The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on the organ.
