Trusting Jesus

Today, Pastor Chad Blake, Executive Pastor of Shepherds Grove, brings a message entitled, “Trusting Jesus.”

The Voices of Hope Children’s Choir, directed by Sarah Grandpre, is part of the Shepherd’s Grove/Hour of Power ministry. This group of 1st through 10th grade children is a professional youth choral program which offers musical excellence and performance experience in a safe and supportive Christian environment. This program has quickly grown, and in 2018 competed on “America’s Got Talent” receiving a Golden Buzzer in their audition and making it all the way to the semi-finals! They continue to uplift and inspire with every performance, bringing joy to the audience and performers alike. Today they perform “When You Believe” (comp: Stephen Schwartz, Babyface; arr: Sarah Grandpre; orch: M. Riley). This group is accompanied by guest conductor Jim McMillen and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Samuel A. Capella is a California native born in Los Angeles and raised in Fontana, California. He studied voice at Riverside City College and Cal State University, Long Beach. Samuel is currently a member of Pacific Chorale, Los Angeles Master Chorale, Tonality, and the Hour of Power Choir. Today, Samuel performs ““O Come to the Altar” (comp: Elevation Worship; adapt & orch: M. Rileywith Dr. Irene Messoloras and the Hour of Power Choir. He is accompanied by the Hour of Power Orchestra with guest conductor Jim McMillen.

Directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir performs “Total Praise” (comp: Richard Smallwood; arr: Carol Cymbala). The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on the organ, Zach DeChance on the piano, and the Hour of Power Orchestra with guest conductor Jim McMillen.

  2. For the past year or so, I try to make it a point to tune into your broadcast ‘Hour Of Power’ every Saturday evening at 9:30 pm on TBN. This day’s message was one that I wish could be on a dvd because you stated a lot of things I feel are important and I know someone who needs to hear it from someone other than me. I truly enjoy hearing you speak because you speak, sometimes, I feel from deep within your heart. You almost bring tears to my eyes. Although my faith is different I find myself quoting your church’s creed.
