Trusting the Goodness of God

April 22, 2018

Today, from the new home of Hour of Power and Shepherd’s Grove, Pastor Bobby teaches that God wants to change your heart before He changes your circumstances, with his message, “Trusting the Goodness of God.”

Dana Baker is a member of the Hour of Power Choir and has performed in opera houses and concert halls around the country. Today, Dana performs, “Almighty God” (comp: G. Nelson; arr: P. McHugh; orch: M. Riley). He is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Joslyn Sarshad is a vocalist from Boulder, Colorado who has been a part of the Hour of Power Choir family for six years. A graduate of California State University Fullerton with her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, Joslyn is grateful to be putting her degree to work by singing in the Hour of Power Choir, Pacific Chorale and John Alexander Singers, as well as teaching voice, piano and guitar lessons. Today, Joslyn performs “Immortal, Invisible” (arr: J. Rosasco, C. Cloninger; orch: M. Riley). She is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, the Hour of Power Choir, along with soloist Patrick Blackwell, performs “Ride On, King Jesus” (comp: Traditional Spiritual; arr: Moses Hogan). The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on the piano.

  2. Our 90-year-old Mom is struggling. She has been diabetic for 40 years, bedridden for 3 years and in the past few days cannot eat, drink nor communicate much at all. She is a WONDERFUL Mother to 6 grateful and joyous children and 8 grandchildren. She is a Christian and has led an admirable life full of generosity, kindness, laughter, and LOVE in everything she has ever done. She is loved dearly by all who know her. Please heal her body if possible, but if it is God’s will, take her gently home to reunite with our Dad, her oldest son, her parents and relatives waiting in Heaven for her arrival. But, oh, how deeply we will all miss her on earth. Joyful, joyful, we adore her!
