What to do When You’re Stuck

January 10, 2021

Pastor Bobby welcomes back guest pastor Bayless Conley. Bayless is the founder and lead pastor of Cottonwood Church here in Orange County, California. He also hosts the television program “Answers with Bayless Conley,” which helps teach the Bible in a practical way. Challenges in his youth brought him to know and experience the love of God in a real way, which carried him into the ministry he has today. This morning, Bayless speaks on: “What to do When You’re Stuck.”

Preston Parker is a reoccurring worship leader here at Hour of Power and has toured and performed with numerous choirs and organizations locally and internationally. He has also been featured performing on shows like The Oscars and The Ellen DeGeneres show. Sam Capella is a California native born in Los Angeles and raised in Fontana, California. He studied voice at Riverside City College and Cal State University, Long Beach. Samuel is currently a member of Pacific Chorale, Los Angeles Master Chorale, Tonality, and the Hour of Power Choir. Today, Preston and Sam perform “Psalm 34” (comp: Shane Barnard; adapt & orch: M. Riley). They are accompanied by the virtual Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, and the Hour of Power Orchestra, directed by Dr. Marc Riley.

A returning Hour of Power favorite, Maiya Sykes is a soloist from Southern California. Maiya attended Yale with a triple major in Political Science, African American studies and Music Composition. Today, she performs “God Provides” (comp: Kirk Franklin) and “We’re Blessed” (comp: Fred Hammond; Tommie Walker; arr: M. Riley). She is joined by backup singers LaNiece Williams, Laura Jones and Raffia, and is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

The Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, goes virtual and performs “The Blessing” (comp: Kari Jobe; Cody Carnes; Steven Furtick; Chris Brown; adapt: M. Riley).

The Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, goes virtual and performs “Mercy” (comp: Craig Courtney). The choir is accompanied by Zeljko Marasovich on piano and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

  1. Thank you for this message. I appreciated Pastor Conley’s message on getting unstuck and putting faith into action. I enjoy watching the Hour of Power and enjoyed an interview Pastor Bobby did with Ben Courson on TBN recently. Thank you for your inspiring ministry, God Bless You!

    1. When I listened to Conley’s sermon, it was a sermon I had not heard. I had just got out of Being stuck because of new changes. I took a 3 weeks about feeling sorry for my self and had talks with the Lord. I finally let 2 good freinds I knew and they helped me with prayer. I was lifted and thanked the Lord. Sometimes we need to be forward and move….just a simple step..
My thanks to your program. Love the teaching and prayers. I really like your creed. I don’t have to worry, Etc
Love to you and Hour of Power
