“Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.“

– Romans 5:18

I would like to challenge our thinking today by saying that everyone matters to God! Surely we all believe this to be true, don’t we? We can all have an inner witness to believe God loves everyone the same, and I believe that too. Interestingly, we all tend to compare up, not down. Those comparisons can sometimes lead to bitterness, envy, jealousy, and resentment. I don’t believe those thoughts and attitudes come from God. We can get rid of all those mental roadblocks by relying on God’s Spirit. Remember, the dream we want in life is to realize there are no limits to what we can accomplish in God’s Kingdom.

I often say that personal change is the key to living the life you want. Every single one of us was dealt a hand, and some of us received a better hand than others. That’s something we all understand. We come from a variety of backgrounds and families, all yielding different outcomes. In the course of our lives, some of us have not had the same trials as others. It’s just the way it is. Maybe you were born healthier or given certain advantages, but no matter your advantages or disadvantages, everyone matters to God!

Friend, let’s take up the challenge of believing that God cares for and loves everyone irrespective of their nation, financial status, or the hand they were dealt in life. As part of our training for personal change, we can embrace this. Training yourself to become the person you were called to be will improve your life and give you a huge advantage.

Prayer

Father, teach me how to accept others who are different from myself and how to see them through your loving eyes.

  1. I have to tell you, that I started watching the hour of Power with your grandfather a very long time ago. I have watched many other pastors and gone to many different churches. I like variety. 🙂
Recently though I felt an urge, maybe calling from God to come back to the hour of power. So I started watching on YouTube and saw one of your sermons. I was hooked immediately. God definitely gave you a gift the way he gifted your grandfather. So I went and found your website and now I’m visiting here daily. I love the messages that you’re sharing and I’m inspired again to continue my spiritual education! Thank you so much for all you do. God bless you, your family and your ministry. Sincerely, Leah K Palmer – Milaca MN

  2. Irregardless of one’s background or upbringing, God only sees three classes of people. 1 Corinthians 10:32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God.
