“For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.’ ”

– Romans 1:17

In many ways, as I’ve often said, fear is not simply what you feel—it’s what you declare. Faith, likewise, is not just an emotion but is expressed through your words and actions. True courage and faith mean choosing to act contrary to your feelings, so that, over time, your emotions align with the truth you are facing. Today, man of God, woman of God, choose to enter God’s rest. As you do, the Lord Himself will fight for you.

Take a moment and say out loud, “I trust God’s Word for me.” Let your voice be strong and clear: “I trust God’s Word for me, and I am stepping into God’s rest!” Praise God, that faith is in what you say! It’s easy to fall into a common trap. We watch what happens around us and let it control how we feel. We think, “Someday I’ll finally rest. Someday, when I have enough money, I’ll feel peace.” But rest is not about what you have—it’s about trusting God right now.

My friend, how often have you thought, “Someday, when I finish that project, I’ll have rest”? Or, “When I get out of debt, when my kids are doing well, when I finally meet the right person, or when I own a house—then I’ll rest.” This is a trap of postponing peace. The truth is, God’s rest is available to you right now. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you enter into His rest today, His rest is for you, in this moment.

Prayer

Father, please guide me so that my faith shines through my words and actions, showing others Your love and truth in everything I do.
