In life, very often, people will let us down. In the times when we need them most, we’ll feel most abandoned and we’ll have the temptation to get angry, embittered, and to assume the worst is going to come on. Today I want to encourage you — don’t do that. That’s not you. You’re bigger than that. You’re learning to let it go and be the kind of person that can walk every day in the easy yoke of Jesus — that says life is too good, in spite of all of its challenges. Don’t spend life holding a grudge or worrying about this or that, instead, love people in spite of their imperfections.

PRAYER: Thank you, God, for teaching us how to respond to the difficulties this life has. Help us to focus on the beauty rather than the difficulties this life has.
