“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” -Philippians 4:4

If we want to become the kind of people that see like Jesus, we have to understand that the world is much bigger, deeper, and better than we ever imagined.

Jesus, when he was looking at the world, I believe he saw a world that was completely bathed in God’s purpose and in God’s presence. We live in that world, a world completely bathed in God’s purpose and presence.

See the best in others, and if you see the best in others, you’ll begin to see the best in yourself. That’s the great thing. When you see what is good in the world, when you see what is good in others, your whole body is filled with light and goodness.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, when I stop for just one moment and consider the world bathed in your light and love, my heart is filled with joy. Amen.
