Today, as we wrap up our discussion on meditation, I want to encourage you with one final thought: God has the victory. As you dwell in the Lord’s presence and practice repenting and consciously casting your cares upon Him, your day can and will be filled with His strength and peace. Why? Because you know that the battle has been won and that everything you face in this life is going to be redeemed!

Spending time in the throne room of God is like rocket fuel for your soul. When you leave your burdens at His feet, you will claim the promise that you are being made strong, firm, and steadfast and walk it out in total confidence. In Jesus’ presence, you will hear Him say to your soul that He always has the last word and that it’s always good! Because He has spoken healing, peace, restoration, wholeness, righteousness, grace, truth, and love over your life, you can trust Him completely and enter into His rest with confident assurance that suffering and trials are only temporary.

Friend, make it a habit to meditate on the goodness of God. Breathe deeply, relax in His presence, confess your sins, cast your cares, and listen to the voice of His Spirit. You are going to outlast the fiery arrows, the stress, and the obstacles, not by willpower, but by training, praying, and entering His space. Stop running to entertainment and other distractions and run to Him in worship and prayer instead. Today and every day, lean on His everlasting arms and watch what happens!
