“And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ ”
– Matthew 25:40
You can be confident that God notices every act of love and service, and there are great rewards—not only in Heaven, but also in this life—for those who obey His command to love their neighbor. When you ask, you will receive. Forgive your neighbor. Love your neighbor. Generosity always finds a way back to you. Countless people can testify, from personal experience, that being a giver brings blessings in return. My friend, I have found this to be true in my own life. The best time to give is often when you have the least. If you need more, give more. If you desire a greater harvest, plant more seed. Ultimately, God is the source of every good thing in our lives. When we trust Him and follow His call to love and give, we reflect His character to the world. |
Prayer
Father, as I sow seeds of kindness and generosity, I thank You for multiplying what I have given in ways beyond my understanding.
Reflection
How can you trust God with your giving, knowing He will always provide for you?
