“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” -Micah 6:8

Faith trusts the word of God that it is true: that God is for you, that God loves you, and that God will bless you. Be the kind of person who trusts in God and not in this world. Endure in that faith, and as you do, all of heaven will open up to bless you with opportunity, favor,  forgiveness, and wisdom. Good things are coming. To trust in God, we have to believe that God actually believes in us; that God really does love us. Most of us don’t truly believe that God is making something spectacular out of us. To have faith in God means to have faith that God has the best for us in mind: that God wants us to go to heaven, that God wants us to thrive, that God wants us to do well, and he does.

PRAYER: Dear God, thank you for being for us. Thank you for believing in us, and enabling us to do great things.

REFLECTION: Do you believe that God is making something spectacular out of you?
