Guess what? He is risen! Amen to that! In this season, we celebrate Easter. Of course, every Sunday we remember that Jesus was raised from the dead, but Easter is the big day we commemorate this important moment. Some of us don’t know why the resurrection matters so much, but it’s very simple: it matters because Jesus is alive. Literally. He’s alive, right now, seated at the throne — at the right hand of God — and He is good. Jesus is your advocate, and He is working on your behalf.


Thank you, God, for the resurrection. Thank you for completely changing the game, in our favor. Thank you for life.
