“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness  for his name’s sake.”

– Psalm 23:1-3

Man, maybe you come to church today and you think God is mad at you. He’s not; He loves you. Maybe you think God’s abandoned you because of all the challenges you’re going through — He hasn’t. He’s shepherding you into victory. Maybe you’ve been betrayed, tricked, lied to, or swindled — but in all the challenges, evil, and wrong that you’ve faced — God’s going to work it out for good. He hasn’t abandoned you. He loves you and if you’re hearing this right now, it’s because He wants you to. He wants you to know that He is going to shepherd you unto victory. And that whatever it is you’re going through, He’s there with you in that pain. He hasn’t forgotten you; He will bring you through.

Prayer

Thank you, God, for you being my shepherd.
