Friends, we live in a miraculous world.  I know that all the time kids with cancer don’t get healed and our prayers often don’t get answered, and I don’t always know why. I know heaven answers a lot of that, but I know it’s still tragic — but these things are signs that God is at work in this world and that heaven is pressing in against the firmament of this world, and it’s breaking in through you and through me.

PRAYER: Thank you, God, for letting heaven break into this world. We need more of it and more of you.
