Congratulations to the Hour of Power Choir under the direction of Dr. Irene Messoloras. The ensemble has been invited to perform at the 2021 national conference of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). The conference will be held in Dallas, Texas next spring.

About the Hour of Power Choir:
Giving service through song, the Hour of Power Choir transcends cultural and generational boundaries by presenting the gospel message through music to people all over the world. Made up of 42 auditioned volunteers and professional singers in the Los Angeles/Orange County area, the ensemble has a reputation for singing wide-ranging repertoire of well-known classics as well as commissioning new works.

About Dr. Irene Messoloras:
Irene Messoloras serves as the Minister of Music for the Hour of Power, and conducts the Hour of Power Choir. She maintains an active career as a highly sought-after music educator, conductor, clinician and adjudicator. In addition to her responsibilities at Hour of Power, Dr. Messoloras serves as the Director of Choral Activities at the University of La Verne where she conducts the premier vocal ensembles and teaches courses in conducting. She also conducts the Chamber Singers at the University of California, Irvine, and is the Artistic Director for the Mountainside Master Chorale.
