How to Move Those Mountains

“He replied, ‘Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.’ ”

– Matthew 17:20

There are times when you may wonder, “Where has my vision gone?” Our excuses are many, and as a result, we say we have no time because things just happen in life. Have you ever felt like you didn’t have enough time? The time is the same for us all now, isn’t it? As far as I know, no one gets 25-hour days. We all get 24 hours a day and no one gets more than seven days a week. Nevertheless, it is easy to say I don’t have time and I don’t have energy. We can all feel that way sometimes.

Lack of money is often blamed for diminishing vision. Like many of you, I have suffered financial hardship before. Often, you create a fantasy money number, perhaps $10,000 or $10,000,000, thinking that if you received this amount of money, everything would change, and you would be able to breathe again. There are all these mountains of money, time, energy, health, and family that you would like to move.

By the way, Jesus teaches us how to move mountains. What did He say? A mustard seed of faith would be enough to say to this mountain – go and be cast into the sea. Even though you’ve tried faith and shouting at the mountain, sometimes you still can’t move it. It still feels like you’re stuck. What is the problem we all face? My friend, your biggest mountain is often you. To overcome the mountain within you, continue to partner with God for greater life transformation and greater faith!

Jesus, I want to learn how to move the mountains within me.

Is your vision diminishing? For greater transformation, how can you partner with God?
