“For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.”

– Philippians 2:13

Jesus loved to call on the outcasts. He went after the people that were told that God wants nothing to do with them. He wanted the people whose religious report card wasn’t good. He had very normal people following Him: teenagers, old people, and sick people. He was teaching them to walk by faith and believe that despite all of their shortcomings and their imperfections, they could do something great for God. God loves using imperfect people to do impossible things. He’s going to use you today. Just have faith. I can’t wait to see you do something great.

Prayer

Use me, God, for your purpose. I may not be perfect, but you are. Use me for your will.

Reflection

When have you seen God use imperfect people? When has He used you for something you thought you couldn’t do?
