Interview (and Music) Guest: Melinda McGlasson

On this Sunday’s (3/4) Hour of Power, we are delighted to welcome Melinda McGlasson as our interview and music guest!

Melinda McGlasson is an aspiring singer from Oklahoma. Voted “Most Likely to Win a Grammy” by her high school classmates, Melinda went on to pursue music on a full scholarship to Northeast Oklahoma A&M College. An Oklahoma native, Melinda was adopted by a Baptist minister and has spent her whole life in the church. Melinda would go on to serve alongside her husband, Dallas, as co-pastor of their church, Lifeway Worship Center with her team, “Lifeway Worship.” Melinda and Dallas have three children: Isaiah, Grayson, and Blake.

While working with her husband at Lifeway Christian Center, her life would change after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and later with stage 3 thyroid cancer. In the midst of this hardship, Melinda was signed to Redemption World Records and began work on her first album, “Spirit Break Out.” She now tours frequently and her music plays internationally — and she is working on her next album!
