“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”

– Revelation 3:20

In the Bible, Jesus Christ makes this very interesting statement, and He’s saying it to you right now. The Lord says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock.” And those who hear my voice, if they open the door, I will come in. There are many of us who live life with the door closed. Our hearts are empty as we live life. We live a life where we are not at peace with God or others. As far as the Christian faith or Christianity is concerned, we remain ambivalent.

Let me encourage you on this day to make a decision that is right for you. Let Jesus Christ in, yes, let him into your heart. If you need to rededicate your life to Him, that is also good news for you. It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we can be at peace with God because He laid down His life for us. It is God who has the power to throw away all those internal recordings of what you have done in the past, all the mistakes you have made in your life, and you can make new successes. It is possible to create new memories. The kingdom of God is a place where you can create new experiences for your life.

Friend, it is possible to create new memories in your life. The kingdom of God is a place where you can create new experiences. Simply close your eyes and pray to the Lord — Father, forgive me of my sins, and Jesus come into my heart. Your life will never be the same.

Father, I want you to help me create new memories and experiences in my life.

What is your relationship with your Christian faith? Are you engaged in it or ambivalent?
