“May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.“
– 2 Thessalonians 3:5
![]() Here’s what I start with: I want to become the best husband and father in the world. Notice the key words here are “I want to become…” I understand every single day that I’m not the world’s greatest father and husband yet, but I’m working on it. My goal to be a better husband isn’t because I have a bad marriage, but because I want to be the best I can be! Friend, I believe you can be better tomorrow than you are today. You’ll have a better life, a better marriage, a better everything as you get better. As you focus on improving in small ways, you’ll see improvement in every other part of your life as well. I am convinced that the healthier your family and personal relationships become, the more positive impact it will have on your job, your church, and even your country. I would like to share with you a simple truth — it all starts with the heart. As your heart changes, everything around you changes as well. |
Prayer
Father, show me how I can improve my relationships in small ways.
Reflection
How do you stay focused on your goals? Do you write them down every day?
