As a pastor, I often see major areas that weigh heavily on God’s people, and the first is healing. Many believers struggle with doubts about whether God still heals today. Over the past several days, I’ve shared about this topic, and I want to be clear: it is God’s will for you to be healed. The Word of God affirms this repeatedly. Still, there are voices—sometimes even within the church—that argue otherwise. Some claim, “God doesn’t heal anymore; that ended with the apostles.” Others suggest God is selective, healing some but not others, for reasons we can’t understand. Some even believe it’s no longer relevant, since we all ultimately go to Heaven. But none of these arguments stand up to what Scripture actually says.

Scripture is clear if we look beyond human opinion. The Bible declares, “By His stripes, you are healed.” Mark 11 assures us, “Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” James adds, “The prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well.” There are countless resources and testimonies that point to God’s will for healing—His promise still stands for you today.

Friend, let’s remember: Jesus healed all who came to Him—He didn’t turn anyone away. Scripture tells us that Jesus is “the same yesterday, today, and forever.” If you want to understand God’s heart, look at Jesus. His compassion and power did not end with the apostles; rather, He remains unchanged. The apostles were transformed by Him, not the other way around. Don’t let doubt or tradition keep you from receiving what God has promised!
