 I don’t know about you, but I find it challenging to follow someone who has never been through difficulty or pain, and I believe the greatest leaders are the ones who share transparently about their struggles. In spite of a prevailing societal belief that a desirable life is one free from opposition, the truth is that every human being will endure trials, and we are best suited to inspire and influence when we speak openly about what we’ve learned in the trenches.
Reflecting on the past season of the global pandemic, we can ponder how it might ultimately have enabled us to bless and inspire others. As we still ourselves, we can focus on what the Lord is revealing to us and gain perspective on how far He’s brought us and how He’s used the pandemic and previous challenges to shape us to be more like Him. My friend, you are a leader, and God is preparing you for greater influence. Every obstacle and setback you endure is positioning you to become an ambassador of hope, healing, and aid to others, both now and in the future. Your faithful Father is crafting a powerful story in this chapter of your life, and you have the incredible privilege of witnessing Him do more than you can ask for or even imagine through your current circumstances. As you invite the Holy Spirit into your midst, He will train your mind to recognize the numerous possibilities in your existing position and empower you to lead through them. |

Jesus, open my eyes to see opportunities in this current season and use it to strengthen and empower me as a leader.
