Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Hebrews 11:1

Faith: a constant command in the Scriptures that is opposed to the feelings of dread and fear. Of course, the greatest command in the Bible is do not be afraid, do not worry, do not fear, and faith is the opposite of fear. Faith is the thing that fosters joy, possibilities, and hope, and it cultivates the calling of God in your life. Faith is the thing that makes you what you were called to be. We need to learn not only how to have faith, but how to release our faith in the midst of a hurting and broken world — in the midst of our challenges, in the midst of our unfinished symphonies, in the midst of our let downs and our ruts. We’re going to learn what it means to serve a limitless God.

God, give me faith. I want to harbor faith and not fear. Help me to remember your promises in challenging times.

  1. Thank you. My childhood faith was so alive and close to my heart- a gift that I truly loved. My mistakes and life’s path has changed how my faith feels but I hope these Times, hold my faith to be steadfast and mature.
I am praying for Cohen, haven, Hannah and you now
