Pastor Bobby Schuller welcomes author Dr. Sarah Sumner and singer Nita Whitaker to Hour of Power with Bobby Schuller.
Pastor Bobby continues the message series based on the Mind of Christ. Today’s message: “From Bitterness to Blessing.”
Dr. Sarah Sumner is the founder of “Right on Mission.” Sarah tailor-makes mission statements for individuals, couples, families and organizations. Her mission is to build integrity in the church. Sarah is the only woman in the United States to have served as dean and full professor of a conservative seminary. She is a speaker and the author of four books. Her newest book is “Angry Like Jesus” and is available wherever books are sold.
Nita Whitaker is a singer, songwriter and author. She has worked with David Foster and has performed with some of the industry’s greatest names including Barbara Streisand and Celine Dion. Her music is available wherever CD’s are sold. Her new Christmas CD, “Keep a Little Christmas” is available at cdbaby.com. Today, Nita performs “Who Would Imagine a King” (comp: M. Warner; H.H. Hill; arr: T. Perlman; N. Whitaker) and “Bridge Over Troubled Water” (comp: Paul Simon; arr: N. Kole; N. Whitaker). She is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
Dana Baker is a member of the Hour of Power Choir, and has performed in opera houses and concert halls around the country. Today, Dana performs, “We Shall Behold Him” (comp. Dottie Rambo). He is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra, as well as Don Neuen and the Hour of Power Choir.
