Merry Christmas!
All month, we have been talking about what Advent means. Advent is a season of waiting, of gratefulness, and especially, and of hope.
It’s a time of believing that in the milieu of life — in all of the challenges and suffering that we face — that somehow, God is going to break through. And He did.
It’s so easy for us to get to the place where we tell ourselves: God’s done with me, God’s mad at me, my future is dark. But God is going to break through. I want to affirm in your life to believe something good is always coming. Something good is always coming for you; don’t give up hope.
Here at Hour of Power, we strive to put our faith in the promise from God that good things are coming for our lives, for our ministry, and for those around us.
In this season of gratefulness, I like to reflect on what I’m grateful for. This year and every year, I’m grateful for you. Hannah, myself, and our entire team grateful for your prayers, your faithful generosity in support of our ministry, and most importantly, for being a part of our family.
Jesus came. Jesus came to bring us good things: peace, joy, and life. And those good things are yours. And because of you, good things are coming to the people around you. You fill the lives of others with the love and light of Jesus Christ.
Our God delivered, just like He said He would. So, in faith, let’s continue to joyfully wait on our God. He’s faithful, He’s powerful, and He will never let us down. We can believe in our future in Jesus Christ because it’s going to be so good.
From my family to yours, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Gods loves you and so do I,
Bobby
