“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
– James 5:16
![]() That’s why we say the creed every single week. We identify as a beloved of God rather than with what we do, what we wear, how we look, how old we are, or our by accomplishments. Instead, every week we simply align our minds with the idea that we are loved by God just as we are and not as we should be. Because only when we believe that do we get the courage to reach out to others with vulnerability. We are able to share the things we struggle with and name our doubts and fears, and reach out because we need a friend. Then, that person has the opportunity to say, “Oh! I struggle with that too!” Then, we can deeply connect and move towards healing. |
Prayer
Thank you, God, for loving us just as we are. Because of this, we can be vulnerable.
Reflection
Are you able to come before God and others just as you are?

I want to graciously thank Pasror Bobby for The Hour of Power and the Daily Devotionals. Honestly, you will never know how much this has centered me in my time of need. I stumbled across your half hour programming back in May and I have been a devotee since. I watched your grandpa and dad, too. Thank you, Pastor Bobby. Your messages are powerful, applicable, and most welcome!
