“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

– Matthew 5:14-16

You see there are two types of people in this world. The first type asks the question: what does the world owe me? And the second type of person is the person who says what do I owe the world? The second is the kind we want to be. The second is happier and more moral. A person who is striving to be like Jesus says I want to fix it, I want to help, I want to do whatever I can to improve this world I’m in. This world owes me nothing. I came into this world to help it. That’s what Jesus said. That’s what we should say. Don’t be entitled. Don’t be a victim. Be a happy person.

Prayer
