“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.”

John 15:1-2

Do you feel that going through difficult times has made you stronger over time? Although it was hard, you grew as a person and as a believer. You were “pruned.” You came out stronger. You know, sometimes God does the pruning, but sometimes the devil does it on accident. I really believe that. But if you respond with faith, you will not be cut down. You will just be pruned. You will be ready in this winter, to come back with an amazing spring to do amazing things for God and for others. You will bear incredible fruit, if you respond with faith. If you stop saying: “it is impossible.” Impossible is such an irresponsible word. Nothing is impossible for God. Believe it!

Prayer

Thank you God, for the pruning that has been done in my life. Although it has been hard sometimes, you will work everything together for my good. I know that. Just give me the courage to respond with faith. I will not be cut down.
