“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”

– 2 Corinthians 4:8,9

I believe that when you become a Christian and turn your life over to Jesus Christ, He puts something inside your heart and mind that makes you incredibly resilient and strong. In the book of 2 Corinthians, the Apostle Paul says that when you get this life inside of you — the life of Christ — you may be pressed, but you will not be crushed by it. You may be persecuted, but you will not be abandoned by God. There will be times when you are cast down, but you will not be destroyed.

The amazing thing about the power of the Gospel is that no matter how bad things get in your life, God can make your circumstances better … even if you can’t see it at that moment. I believe He has the ability to do something on the inside of you that can transform you forever. We can live eternally even after we die so that our death is a gateway to His new life for us, which is eternal life. This is a gift I would like to encourage you to accept.

Friend, there are so many people who have nice thoughts about God, church or Jesus, but they never make a decision about them. It’s important for you to choose and make a decision to commit to a life with Christ. Choosing good over evil, choosing life over death, and choosing Christ over the world is a choice you can make. I encourage you to do so. In order for us to have eternal life, the Lord Jesus was crushed for our sins and our iniquities. Today is the day to receive Him. Your life will never be the same!

Father, today I make a decision to follow Christ as my Lord and Savior.
