The word ‘serve’ appears a lot in the Bible. But I don’t know how well it actually translates how we’re supposed to act when we serve. And as Christians, service should always be coming from a place of care, compassion, love and especially hospitality. Remember this word: hospitality. And hospitality is under your care and they’re your guest. Because of that, you are going out of your way to make sure that the wounded, hurting, and least of these folks in your sphere of influence feel loved, respected, and even protected by you.
